Legal Experience and Educational Background
Mr. Deutsch’s legal expertise includes working as a trial and appellate attorney in the US Department of Justice. He has handled immigration-related cases in federal courts nationwide for the US Immigration and Naturalization Service, the State Department, and the Labor Department. In addition, he has served as an attorney in multiple published, precedent-setting immigration law cases before federal courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
He previously worked as a law clerk in the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. This job helped him to gain valuable skills that he uses today as an immigration attorney. Mr. Deutsch holds a JD, cum laude, from Boston College Law School and served as an editor of the B.C. International and Comparative Law Review. He earned his BA in Philosophy, magna cum laude, from Boston University.
